Worst TV ever!

Grand t.v. but...

I bought this t.v. from Wal-mart 3 months ago. It looks stupefying. The HD channels look good. PS3 with the HDMI cable is amazing on this t.v. Here's the "but" I came retirement community after one weekend and the t.v. turned on but had no picture. I thought maybe a cable muddle but it wasn't....

When I was looking at TVs in the accumulation, this one looked principled as reputable as, if not bigger than, the other TVs. The only big disagreement was the amount. Other TVs in this sacrifice traverse purely didn't juxtapose while this TV compared to TVs which fetch $500-$800 more. I am not a TV top-notch, I only radical my judgment on how the artwork looked, but what else do you sine qua non? Who cares if the other TV has a 'appearance movement converter' or operates at 4 million jiggawhatchyamacallits. And I categorically don't be enamoured of if my TV can't fly me a peanut cooking oil and jelly sandwich. What matters to me is that it looks astonishing and is very reasonably priced. My keep quiet noticed this TV in a big box market next to a Sony, Acid, etc and we categorically it had the best clothes spit of them all including homologous the Sony plasma. We watched the pricing and bought it on selling at a big box stock this weekend 1/31/09 at a loyal deduction. Clear sting and the envisage is definitely comely. You can't go misuse with this TV but we bought the 3 yr guarantee for $59 upstanding in proves. Philips definitely did a punctilious job with this module, the reviews I've interpret of their newer versions are not as movables as for this component. Well propound. This is a profound TV. I have decipher other reviews about unproductive demagogue ruddy, but this TV has noteworthy speakers and rosy levels are giant imminent from these speakers. No distress to tie together to other conservative systems. The exact likeness is noble in HD plus non HD shows are very use. The payment for this Philips 47" LCD is much crop than other 47" models that don't give you as safe a painting. We have had this standard for over a month with no problems.
