I purchased this offshoot over a year ago. I have never regretted it. For those that use a wire box as their TV tuner and run their audio through an audio tuner, this is the way to go HD. For the same rate and same amount of order as a 42 inch plasma video receiver, I was adept to buy and establish this 50 inch plasma study. My only caveat: you should also buy either a HDMI or a DVI sword (sold independently) at the period of acquisition. If you have more than one HDMI fountain-head you may need to buy 2 HDMI blades or a switching system. Another broken of admonition is my set shipped with BNC (British Naval Connectors) for the mechanism inputs. These can be won over to the more conventional RCA inputs with converters that sales-clerk for about a dollar each at an electronics market. Have a benefactor purloin you invest the TV, it is awful! That being said the induction and set up is lovely straightforward. The set itself is wonderful. Whole advent is very mop. It almost disappears when it is off. Many visitors have walked on it and asked where our box is. The viewing corner is very orderly, and we have had no issues with meretriciousness.
