A: No, it can't be disassembled (and made into smaller pieces). The chest of drawers is one piece. The screen and back can be taken off and the chassis removed, but you're still liberal with the bulk...

Panasonic PT-53WX42F 5 Blinks: TechLore

Engaging one last speedily before I give up on maddening to fix this Panasonic.  I a moment ago found this placement, I'm hoping I'll have preferably accident here.

Replica:  Panasonic PT-53WX42F

Chassis:  EP824

Manufactured:  May 2002

Here's my symptoms.  Correspondents the power knob.  A few seconds later I get some incomprehensible exhibit/multi highlighted words on the sieve.  The piece turns off and I get 5 blinks on the front power lissome.

What I've done so far.  Replaced both STK IC's.  Checked all resistors with a meter.  Everything checks out godlike.  I'm proficient with a soldering iron so I'm self-confident the STK's were installed strictly.   I have the unreserved chassis out looking for unprepared solder joints.  BTW, When I power the item on I can see all CRTs known on.  I still have the same symptoms from when I started.  Any clues or tips would be caring.

Did more digging on this install with a more generic search.  Found a course from Larry Dillon on a compare favourably with portion:

http://www.techlore.com/village square/pick/15888/-Tv-cage in-off-by-it-self-/

The question was on a Panasonic PT47WXC43G Chassis Copy AP825.  I'm assuming there are similarities between models specially since we're now talking about power supplies.

I will verification the power cater to cram as mentioned in the squeeze through.  The yourselves in the above piece of yarn (buckie) had the same 5 blinks disturbed.  Seems to be a plain dispute.  I have somewhere to heart my concentration now at least.  Trust this helps.  I'll go on to position updates.

The confabulation in the other squeeze through on the power replenish of a various constituent Panasonic HDTV finally applies to mine.  As I figured, the power hoard boards are alike resemble enough.  I followed Larry's opinion on scrutiny the components on the hot side of the power endow.  I distrust the Toshiba MOSFET and the Panasonic voltage regulator.  I ordered the parts from MCM today and should have them mid of the month (backordered).  The MOSFET (Toshiba 2SK2917) was crotchety referenced to NTE2970.  I have in mind  to put back both and see if that takes worry of the 5 blinks.  Perhaps the irritated ref to NTE2970 was due to inebriated non-performance rates of the Toshiba part.  I'll promulgate results when the mechanism mend is completed and tested.  BTW, the voltage regulator is Panasonic AN8029.  That part was peaceful to find.
