Which of the TVs are better? The 42" Magnavox LCD 1080p HDTV at SamsClub or TigerDirect's LG OPUS 42LBX LCD?
By how much?
and is it usefulness the price?(for a gamer)
A: I would get the LG they are way well-advised than Magnavox and i never heard good reviews for the magnavox tvs. LGs are in the top ten like sony, samsung, bitter. go for the LG.

I have owned the LG42LBX 42" LCD TV for about 6 months now. It is one of the overcome items I have ever purchased. I own 3 LCD TV's which are all eager but the LG stands above them all. For starters, I purchased for only $1,100. I was looking at a Sony 37" LCD that was about $400-500 more than the LG and the Sony was only 60HZ. I make alot of sports so I actually wanted the 120HZ so I didn't have to pore over choppy moving. I didn't call for to get a plasma tv because I Loathing how put-on the screens are. The LCD's screens are matte funereal with no glimmer and hence no gaudiness. A few weeks after I bought this TV I set up one of my 720P 32" LCD TV's next to the LG during a Saturday tenebrousness of College Football (so we could regard two games simultaneously) and the 60HZ TV had a obvious turmoil obscure, the LG with it's 120Hz, as I had hoped, had none. For the greenbacks this has to be the worst TV you could peradventure find anywhere. Also, FYI the only important complex inequality between the 2007 42LBX "Creation" and the new 2008 working model 42LG60 "Scarlet" is there is one auxiliary side HDMI channel and the deviate from proportion is higher (50,000:1). We recently bought this tv from First-rate Buy. We shopped for actually a while, atleast 3 months, looking for the largest fit for our kindred. We are upgrading from a 32" tube tv, so undeniably, anything would've been well-advised than what we had. But we knew, in defiance of what the sales residents often told us, that LG is a Implausible label. We lived in Germany for a few years, and there LG is THE BRAND. Not Sony, samsung, yada yada yada. So when we stumbled onto it at Sears for only 1099.99, we knew we had an Extraordinary act on. We've been watching the tv now for a few era and Exceedingly get off on it! Above all when we bought it for such a genuine guerdon. Only because Outdo Buy does rate identical, we were talented to get it for less that what it payment Trounce Buy. Colossal Tv, Prodigious Value.... This TV from LG is an implausible see to. I have had it for 2 months now. For $1099, this TV packs an unimaginable thwack....
