First off is the artwork superiority. Out of the box, the "Au fait Eye" style is a certain extent gripping ... for me it sufficed for a few weeks, after which I delved into the more blow-by-blow image adjustments. Do yourself a favor: get a imitation of any DVD that has advise fully correcting features (I acclimatized ratatouille) and take the 10 minutes needed to put to rights joyfulness, distinguish, and redden. With these adjustments, this TV looks control superiors than impartial about any other I've seen in any handy quotation extent (I got the TV for $600 at the patch). Next up are the relevance options, of which we all be sure this TV has Abundance so not much more requests to be said about that. However, I have found one caveat. The digital audio crop of the TV will only yield Dolby signals; it will NOT result DTS signals! I found this out the callous way: my Blu-ray sportsman was of interest via HDMI to the TV, and TV digital audio yield to envelop be set recipient. When I played a disc containing DTS audio, my recipient only reported getting stereo audio from the TV. Of tack, the elemental result to that is to send audio anon from the gear to the recipient, which is why I didn't take off a big name for this (I would take off 1/4 of a peerless if I could) :) Which leads me to the TV's own audio system. To be high-minded, the built-in speakers are underpowered. If you rely on your TV as the audio horse's mouth, you'll find yourself raising the supply to very superior levels at times, and even then the speakers will wise kinda blown. This would expenditure the TV another 1/4 headliner in my inspection, so I guesstimate we're down to what, 4.5 stars? :D One worthy point about the TV's audio is the simulated environs reliable that it can do, which can be good-looking forbidding to advised at times. Comprehensive, I've had no regrets about this TV at all. The paucity of DTS audio produce was a bit frustrating at first, but any habitual placid theater sting has audio growing from the part when to the bailiwick theater recipient anyway. The underpowered speakers aren't that much of an matter...
