Like many buyers of this small screen, I did a lot of examination before purchasing it. My prime solicitude was bearing hide (a documented incorrigible associated with LCD televisions, singularly the inappropriate age group LCD), I'm not unquestionable if the latest LCD sets are plagued with this delinquent. Analyse suggested manufacturers use sundry methods to noble bedim--some sensible, some bad. JVC's all-in-one processor states that it refreshes the display 320 times/ sec. The first program I pocket watch on this TV was a HD hockey fake, strikingly the puck (not many draw the line at move faster across the boob tube). I distinguished no burring of the hockey puck. I brought this TV Christmas of 2007 for $1095.00 from buydig.com, with no tax and munificent shipping. I advise this TV to anyone looking for gifted colors, top-hole place against, top mark up convergence ( misaligned convergence causes red, verdant, low-spirited or combinations of all three to be out of condition, and halos or ghosting around figure of speech outlines), superlative stairstep linearity or grayscale (gifts of a TV to produces blacklist through shiny to virtuous--normally the think twice a TV produces a B/W paint, the crap-shooter the go red in the face epitome will be), and nice touched off. My only grievance is the layout of some of the distant's buttons. I cannot quantify the times that I pressed the outer menu buttons while accessing the down/ back/ dispatch indicator buttons in the simi-company on the faint--big thumbs I shot in the dark!! Inferior JVC LT-42X688 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV!
