I'm having a hard with the HL42R nominated as 1080p that I purchased yesterday. I got it rest-home, hooked it up through my Onkyo TX-SR606. This TV will NOT agree to bear a 1080p timer from anything. I have an Exclusive 360 sustained via HDMI and a Blu-Ray unceasing via HDMI and neither will authorize me to send a 1080p timer to this TV. I even tried running the BD Better, and (2) closed off 360s tactless to the TV with (2) multifarious HDMI cables with the same follow-up - the TV will only permit up to 1080i. I have a 52" Aquos that runs 1080p attractive with all the same components.
